My ResuméYou can learn enough about me from pretty much any of the links above. But since you
came to my personal website, you deserve the inside scoop.
My name is Conner.
Originally from rural Ohio (my hometown census is 2,600 people), I now live in downtown
Baltimore, MD. Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate corn and fields with the best of 'em,
but living
in a city, with countless restaruants, interesting and diverse people, and no shortage
of things to do has been one of the most exciting changes in my life.
I moved here when I enrolled at Johns Hopkins for undergrad. When I visited Hopkins, it
immediately called out to me as the place to be. I particularly loved
their Cross-Country / Track & Field team, and could see myself performing well here
academically and athletically. I still now can't resist the interminable
urge to run most days, and I continue running and strength training to this day
as a "hobby jogger".
I studied Computer Science and Applied Mathematics & Statistics, and eventully got my
Masters at Hopkins in Computer Science during my 9th semester.
My day job now is Computer Scientist. But I like to think of it a little
more generally. I was brought in to a medical device start-up, CraniUS, with one
instruction: build a performant software system for this medical device. And I pretty much
have run wild with that instruction ever since.
Building a system, building a product, building a team. Creating something where something
was not is an incredible feeling. I hope you can see how much I resonate with this
idea below.
Most of my personal-time is building projects that, while may have little or no commercial
value, were created by scratch by myself. And the satisfaction of their existance is fuel
enough to build again.
But don't think tech is all I do. I love to read (check out my book page), write, and
I have an uncanny ability in skill games (ping-pong, cornhole, chess, etc) that I often to
break out. I frequently longboard (electric and non-electric), ski in the winters,
urban explore year-round, and after recently getting a drone, have become obsessed with
capturing unique pictures from 400 feet up. And of course, I love to run.
I don't treat this site as "promotional material" for myself. This site is where I can
record and document the projects and activities I am up to, and if others are insterested,
reach out and let's collaborate?

Some of the most recent projects I have been working on. Reach out if interested in any of them!
My first personal website included a list of all the books, trainings, and courses I have ever taken. I like to think just reading the title is enough to spark the memory of the book itself. Please check-out below!
